Lang Suan Beach (Lang Suan Beach) (Chumphon)  In the temple at Lang Suan Beach a mummified monk with a stuffed cobra is kept in a glass shrine south of the bot. Passing over a lotus pond you reach the shrine of the Prince of Chumphon. Eventually you arrive at the village Pak Nam Lang Suan (harbor of Lang Suan), where boat races take place at the end of October/beginning of November. The well-groomed town Lang Suan (by pick-up 10 Baht) is situated 8 km inland. The access road is lined with blossoming trees, the median strip is planted.Coming from Chumphon you turn east at KM 57,8 into H4097 at the signboard “Phitak Island 28”. After 11 km you reach a fishermen beach that is not very clean where a seafood restaurant is located. 700 m further there is a resort situated on a beach with grey sand. The pleasure beach of Lang Suan starts 1,5 km further south where you find many small beach restaurants. A large temple is situated right in the middle at KM 0.
