The Mandalai is a three storey hotel building with a pool in the middle.

Nice Viva Beach is located right on the beach. The manager of the hotel is a true perfectionist what can be seen in the design of the resort.
The staff is very friendly.
Every full moon, there is a big barbecue night with a free salad buffet.

Rose Villa is located in the middle of Chalok Lam beach. One has great views of the bay from most of the bungalows as well as the restaurant. The restaurant is quite big and serves good food.
The management has put a lot of money and time into building this place, the result is a well-maintained and clean resort.

Fantasea Resort and Fanta Bungalows are located right on the beach of Chalok Lam. The resort part is more for the people with more money and offers modern, beautifully designed wooden bungalows which look different from everything else on the island. But the place also offers simple, affordable bungalows for the budget traveler still.
The attached restaurant serves Thai and Western dishes and has great sea views.

In Buritara, there are little one and two floor bungalows, grouped around a pool with sea view. There is a nice garden, but it still needs a few years to bloom.

North Beach Bungalows are located at the Northern end of Chalok Lam. You have great views of the beach, the bay and the pier from the restaurant and the bungalows. This is a friendly family business with a huge choice of great seafood, fresh from the market.

Belvedere Resort is located a little further away from the Chalok Lam village life, on a hill in the direction of Hat Khom. It offers spectacular views of the entire bay.

Lotus Dive Resort, located along the road to Mae Hat is the right choice for both beginners and advanced divers. There are some bungalows for staying.

Cafe del Mar is located right on the beach. Starting in the late afternoon, people gather here for the beautiful view, a nice atmosphere and a few drinks.

Gypsy Moon Bay is located right on the beach and often organizes concerts, mainly from the Reggae genre. Even Job 2 do, Thailand's most popular Reggae band is playing here often.

From Hat Salad you go up the hill, then left in the direction of Mae Haad. You will find Jam Rock Bar on your left side.
Like other bars on the island, the decoration follows a Reggae theme. But the bar also features live bands regularly.

This is the best point from where to see the whole Chalok Lam Bay. The way up is not that easy, but the locals keep building.
Once you're there, you should definitely walk up the steps to the top. There you can also sit down and have a drink.

World's End Cafe is located on the restaurant street.
It offers Greek dips, moussaka and other Greek specialties, as well as the usual Western stuff like burgers, baguettes, and real coffee. The breakfast gets also good reviews, but it comes for a price. Owner is Lotta, a friendly lady from Sweden.
