Liberty Bungalow offers typical Thai bungalows on the beach. They are suitable for the backpacker who enjoys beach life and is looking for a place not far from the parties. The Black Moon Party is within walking distance, Half Moon Party is a few minutes ride and the Full Moon Party is only 15 minutes away by taxi.

Mac's Bay Resort has good quality rooms, set in a nice garden on a broad stretch of beach. The resort offers 30 bungalows, many of which are beachfront, some with, some without bathroom.

Buncha Samanora succeeds in surprising. If you are fed up with all the beach accommodation, you are right here.
About a kilometer from the main road Ban Khai-Hat Rin, the resort is located in the middle of the jungle. It sits in a little valley, lush hills all around. But the best is that the resort has practically been built into a river which has several waterfalls at this place. So there is a little stream running by almost all the bungalows which makes for a mystic fairytale atmosphere, especially during the rainy season.
There is a restaurant right in the middle of it all which is very relaxed. There is also a viewpoint that can be reached in a short time by foor.
There are parties taking place here on an unregular basis, they are hosted in the big hall built exactly for that at the foot of the hill.

Jungle Bar is quite hidden in the jungle. But if you're fed up with the beach nightlife, you are right here. As soon as it is dark you feel like you've come to the end of the world.
How to get there: From the main road in follow the sign 'Palida Resort' (about half way between Thongsala and Ban Tai), then you can't miss it.

Baan Sabai is the classic After Hour on the island, and that is for all big parties: After Full Moon, half Moon and Black Moon you can keep dancing for another 24 hours. The music is mostly at 140 BPM.
The location is pretty and right on the beach. The dancefloor is inside an openly designed hall with views of the beach. There are plenty of cosy options for chilling out between the palmtrees. Next to the dancefloor there is s mall shop with clothes and accessories for Psytrance lovers.

Buddha Boutique is located along the main road, close to the most dangerous curve.
Here you can find paintings and sculptures, everything is presented in a very pretty way. The prices are moderate and the owner does not speak much English, but seems to be very nice.
