Rasta Home is located a little remote, just on the edge of the jungle. There is often live-music, if not, you get good music from a DJ. Nice atmosphere, altogether labelled 'Reggae'.

Charlie Bar is a newcomer at Chao Phao, it opened in February 2011. The cozy bar offers all it takes, including a great ocean view. Several times a month you will find parties here, mostly labelled Reggae.
Nice management.

Hat Yao Divers is one of the most established dive schools on the island and in business for over 20 years.
Good equipment, perfect records, courses in many languages.
Manager Heike, a nice German, also has good advice on everything else on Phangan.
