Ao Nang Friendly Bungalows is a small Muslim bungalow area with only 12 rooms. The rooms are clean and the concrete bungalows come with Aircon, TV and fridge. The cheaper wooden ones have fan and hot shower. It is a 15 minute walk to the beach from this quiet area. The owner also rents motorbike at 200 baht per day.

One of the most beautiful resorts in Ao Nang is the Ao Nang Cliff View Resort. Located at the foot of the limestone karsts, Ao Nang Cliff View Resort guarantees a relaxed and quiet stay in Ao Nang. Noppharat Resort is a nice bungalow site with pool about 10 minutes walk from Nopparat Thara Beach. The restaurant offers Thai Cuisine at reasonable prices. The restaurant does not serve alcohol but you can bring your own. A small Mini market is just opposite. Noppharat Resort also has a tour counter and offers tours at reasonable prices and rents motorbikes as well. Noppharat Resort is highly recommendable at affordable prices.

Krisda Guesthouse opened its doors in 2009. All rooms are uniquely furnished showing various epochs of Thai history. All rooms have air con, free HBO, tea-making facilities and fridge. The restaurant is set in a small garden and the guests can watch the local plants, veggies and fruits grow! The rates include breakfast. Krisada Guesthouse is a stone's throw away from 7/11, pharmacy, food stalls, Aonamao Beach and Pier. A guesthouse with 'boutique' flair. The Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort is located in the center of Ao Nang. Just above McDonald's. It is a 2 min walk to the beach from the Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort. The view from the pool over the limestone karsts is spectacular and once inside the resort you forget that you are right in the middle of the bustling center of Ao Nang. The rooms are nicely furnished, and come with aircon, mini bar, kettle and safety box. The rooms at the Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort are well insulated and with the windows closed you will not hear traffic in those rooms facing the main road. Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort offers a nice gym and children's paradise as well as free internet in the lobby area. The massage salas are really inviting and you can get massages at reasonable prices (THB 300 per hr). The room rates include breakfast.

The Ao Nang Terrace Hotel located in Moo 3 is an old guest house style hotel. From Ao Nang Terrace Hotel it is a 10 mins walk to either Nopparat Thara Beach or Ao Nang Beach. The rooms are clean but not very nicely furnished and the Ao Nang Terrace Hotel is not really inviting for an extended stay. The small splash pool is facing the road. Breakfast is served at the Ao Nang Beach Terrace.

The Jungle Village is a family Bungalow site under Danish Management 3kms outside of Ao Nang. The bungalows are spacious and individually furnished. Jungle Village offers a shuttle service to the Beach and to the Center of Ao Nang. I would recommend being mobile at Jungle Village as there are no Restaurants, food stalls and the like in the vicinity of Jungle Village.

Sala Thalay Resort, located at the Beach Road of Nopparat Thara Beach is a new 4 Star Hotel. The restaurant on the first floor offers a lovely view on the Andaman Sea and its islands. The traffic of the main road may be a bit disturbing in the restaurants. The rooms at the back should be quiet.

The 48 rooms of the Sunda Resort are divided into three categories. The bungalows of Sunda Resort are spread out in a lush tropical garden with a natural river running through. The spacious bungalows are built on stilts and all terrace's are overlooking the river. The restaurant does not sell alcohol but you are allowed to consume it in your rooms. The Sunda Resort has two pools and offers free shuttle to Nopparat Thara Beach and to Ao Nang. It is advisable to be mobile though.

The Happiness Resort is located about 2 km off Nopparat Thara Beach. The rooms at Happiness Resort are quite large and it is easy to fit an extra bed in. The staff at Happiness Resort are very friendly and helpful. It is an asset to be mobile if you are staying at the Happiness Resort.

The Wangsai is a large Seafood Restaurant at the beginning of Noppharat Thara Beach by the sea. Wangsai Seafood offers live seafood, which guarantees freshness. The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is mainly frequented by Thais and is not very cozy due to the bright neon lights. However, the seafood is excellent.

Sea Horse Restaurant is part of a diving school and offers Thai food and some European Dishes. Try the fillet of fish with mashed potatoes and veggies. Quite a portion for 120 Baht.

Rimlay Beach Villas are locateed right at Ao Nam Mao Beach. The twin bungalows all have sea view. The resort has a small pool and the restaurant serves Thai and international food. The rooms at Rimlay Villas all come with aircon, hot shower and fridge.

Krabi Tropical Beach Resort has direct access to Ao Nam Mao Beach. A small and cozy place with a small pool. The Standard Rooms are facing the road and the Deluxe Rooms are overlooking the ocean. Internet in the Lobby is free of charge. A family room can also be booked. The friendly staff are happy to help booking tours, motorbikes etc. The beach just in front of Krabi Tropical Beach Resort is not suitable for swimming during low tide and the pier at Ao Nam Mao is close so there may be noise disturbance due to long tail boats.
