Der Start ist am Schrein der Stadtsäule (City Pillar). Er befindet sich in der Nähe vom Tapi Fluss, der durch die Stadt Surat Thani fliesst. Der Schrein wird von den Einheimischen besonders hoch verehrt. 
Der Schrein mit einem schönen weissen Fundament befindet sich in der Mitte eines Platzes, der von einem gepflegten Garten mit vielen Blumen, Bäumen und Elefantenstatuen in allen Grössen umgeben ist .
Geöffnet von 6 - 18 Uhr.

Der Park wurde für die Feierlichkeiten von „Seiner Majestät des Königs“ entlang des Tapi Flusses in der Stadt Surat Thani errichtet. Es ist ein Treffpunkt für Familien, die hier spazieren und relaxen, während sie dem Alltagsleben der Fischer zusehen. Zudem ist es ein herrlicher Ort um einen schönen Sonnenuntergang zu erleben.
Von hier aus kann man auf der anderen Seite des Flusses die Insel Koh Lampu sichten.
Koh Lamphu (Kleine Insel) liegt im Herzen des Tapi Flusses und ist über eine Brücke erreichbar.
Der schwimmende Park im Zentrum von Surat Thani ist der meist besuchte Erholungsort für die Einheimischen. Der Park ist von vielen Bäumen umgeben und ein sehr schöner Ort zum Relaxen, ein Buch zu lesen oder joggen zu gehen.
Im Koh Lamphu Public Park, gibt es viele Möglichkeiten zur körperlichen Betätigung, sowie Badminton, Fussball, Fitnesscenter und auch einen Kinderspielplatz.
„Khong Roi Sai" bedeutet Hunderte von Kanäle. Die Menschen hier leben entlang des Tapi Flusses und haben ihre einmalige traditionelle Lebensweise beibehalten. In diesem Sinne dient die Gemeinschaft von Khong Roi Sai den Menschen heute genauso wie in der Vergangenheit.

Wat Pra Yok is the oldest temple in the city of Surat Thani.
It is assumed the temple was established around 200 years ago.Pra Yok temple was built in the early Rattanakosin period (reign of King Rama I) The Buddha image of the temple (this temple located under the tree named Khoi in front of a chapel) people nearby saw the Buddha image sway so that they called it Wat Phra Yok .

Myths from people who believe that at this temple One novice cleaned the temple and then he disappeared, leaving only a robe and the red blood stain were stuck at the mouth of the Buddha image. The mercury under the chin of the Buddha image react chemically with the texture of the metal and give the effect of a red liquid coming out of the chin the same as blood. Local people believed that this was because they hadn't paid enough merit.

Im Wat Tri Thammaram befindet sich eine grosse Buddhastatue in meditierender Sitzhaltung. Der Schoß hat eine Breite von 3 Metern und ist 60 cm hoch. Viele Relikte befinden sich unter dem Sri Mahapho Baum. Dieser Platz wird auch Pra Phuttha Hoaya Memorial genannt.
Der Tempel Wat Sai wurde 1931  errichtet. Ein Buddha, der in Sandstein gemeißelt ist, kann hier besichtigt werden.
Viele altertümliche Ruinen umgeben den Tempel.



Wat Klang befindet sich auf der anderen Seite vom Tri Thammaram Tempel, genau gegenüber vom Pier. Man nimmt an, dass Wat Klang vor 1777 gebaut wurde. Eine sehr altertümliche und ursprünglliche Atmosphäre umgibt den Tempel. Ein berühmter Abt, der Zon genannt wurde, starb vor mehr als 50 Jahren. Hinter dem Tempel steht ein gläserner Sarg zur Anbetung, in dem sein Körper aufbewahrt wird.

Wat Phra Yok ist einer der ältesten Tempel in der Provinz Surat Thani. Es wird vermutet, daß der Tempel in der frühen Rattanakosin Periode   (König Rama 1) erbaut wurde. In der Tempel-anlage steht ein Glocken-turm. Wer die Glocken hier läutet, dem wird Glück und Reichtum beschert.

Wat Pattanaram wurde früher Wat Mai genannt. Der Tempel wurde von einem Mönch, Phut Naratha, erbaut. Nach ihm wurde sein Lehrer, Sook, als Abt ernannt. Im abgelegenen Hinterland von Wat Pattanaram befindet sich ein Friedhof mitten in der Wildnis. Der Tempel Wat Pattanaram gilt als wichtiges Kulturdenkmal in der Provinz Surat Thani.

Wat Thamma Bucha ist der drittwichtigste Tempel der Stadt. Er dient unter anderem für Lehrerausbildungen, die von der Regierung anerkannt sind.

On the second floor there is a statue of the god Chao Poi Sian, Sam Phob Buddha and Chao Mae Kuan Aim made from white granite in front of the foundation high 18 meter to the people scarified for their wish.
