Thai Diving Association (TDA)

TDA was established in December 2004 and is Thailand’s national and official member of C.M.A.S. - the World Under Water Federation.

More than 125 countries are associated with their national diving associations to C.M.A.S., which was founded by the world famous diving pioneer Jacques Yves Cousteau to standardize scuba diving activities and safety rules internationally since 1959.

According to these international high diving training and safety standards of C.M.A.S., the TDA improves and guarantees a maximum of diving fun and safety for all divers and students in Thailand.

The young, modern and open minded TDA Thailand Diving Association will realise all comforts for your pleasant and safe diving activities.

Recreational Diving

TDA offers the complete range of recreational diving courses starting with a two days Basic Diver Course up to the professional level of a TDA/CMAS Instructor Trainer.

All students receive two c-card diving certificates after completing their course: a national TDA certificate and an international CMAS certificate with high recognition and acceptance worldwide.

Every TDA/CMAS Dive Academy provides professionally trained, experienced and motivated instructors to enable the best diving conditions for all divers in the beautiful Seas of Thailand. Watch out for the TDA decals and signs at the dive shops!

Technical and Cave Diving

TDA also offers Technical diving and courses which is a form of scuba diving that exceeds the scope of recreational diving. Technical divers require advanced training, extensive experience, mixed gases and specialized equipment.

Southern Thailand provides also many opportunities to explore fascinating cave systems located all over the Andaman Sea. For more information, please contact TDA headquarters.
