Departure from Phetchaburi


By Train:
To go to Bangkok during daytime is only possible by slow trains no. 252 and 254 at 7.29 am and 12.37 pm to Bangkok Noi (arriving at 11.10 am and 3.45 pm) as well as by Diesel Rail car no. 262 at 3.02 pm to Bangkok (arriving at 7.05 pm).
To the South there is Express 85 in the night at 10.24 pm, it arrives in Chumphon at 3.44 am and Surat Thani at  6.27 am (with connection to buses for the ferries).




By Bus to Bangkok:
The Aircon bus terminal  is located directly at the new night market opposite of the post office.


Aircon busses 977, 72 and
74 run to Bangkok (150 km) every 30 minutes till
8.30 pm, for 92/112 Baht.



   From here you can go any
   time of the day  by bus
   no. 73 to Ratchaburi for
   50 Baht in app. 1 hour and  
   to Kanchanaburi.



Bus to Cha-am, Hua Hin:
To Cha-am, second class aircon buses run frequently for 30 Baht, to Hua Hin for 45 Baht, departing from Phetcharat Hospital and from BIG C Department Store on the highway H4.



By bus to all destinations in the South:
From Bangkok there are all kinds of aircon busses heading to the south of Thailand. They all pass Phetchaburi.
If a bus has seats available and you purchase your ticket within two hours of departure from Phetchaburi, the bus will stop at the new bus station by the highway just south of Phetcharat Hospital.
Be aware that the bus station is only this unobtrusive small shop house by the highway. Buy your ticket here.
The times in these timetables are the departure times from Bangkok. These are also the times from when you can buy a ticket. The busses depart here app. two hours later.

Be aware: These are original timetables by the Transport Co. which uses their own creative way of spelling destination names. Please use a little sense of fantasy to identify the destinations, e.g. Khabi means Krabi, Khapuri means Kraburi, Khophagn means Koh Phangan.
By Van:
Aircon Vans leave from near the bus terminal to Bangkok and to Hua Hin via Cha-am every 15 Minutes, fares are 110 to 130 Baht.
In Cha-am the vans stop in Narathip Road.

Bus Station (สถานีรถขนส่ง) (Phetchaburi)

All buses heading to the south stop at the bus station south of Phetcharat Hospital if they need to pick up passengers.
To Cha-am there are frequent second class aircon buses for 30 Baht and to Hua Hin for 45 Baht. These buses also stop further south at the BIG C Department Store on highway H4.
Further to the South (Chumphon, Surat Thani, Phuket and other cities) there are all types of aircon buses.

The aircon bus terminal (Rot Tour) is directly located at the new night market opposite the post office. From here aircon buses and minivans depart for various destinations in Bangkok.
Aircon bus 977, 72 and 74 depart every 30 minutes until 8 pm for 92/112 Baht. Several minibus companies also depart from here to Bangkok.
