The beautiful province Phang Nga is blessed with many mountains and limestone rocks, most dramatic in and around the Bay of Phang Nga. 
Most famous are James Bond Island, locally called Khao Tapu (= nail mountain), and the rock overshadowing the muslim stilt village Koh Panyi. 
In the interior the highest mountain rises to 1250 metres with a few neighbours around 1050 metres. These mountains are covered in dense jungle and practically inaccessible.
