By Car and Boat to Koh Phangan

If you come with your own car and don't want to take it to Koh Phangan, you can park it safely at Ao Makham near Chumphon or at the guarded car park at Don Sak for 100 Baht per day. The other piers near Chumphon or Surat Thani we don't consider safe due to many cars maneuvering back and forth not really caring for your parked vehicle. When you come back late and the car park at Don Sak is closed, contact the guards
-- they will open the gate for you.

If you want to take your car to Koh Phangan, the only means of transport is the Raja Ferry from Don Sak which leaves Don Sak five times a day at 8.00, 10.00, 14.00, 16.00 and 18.00 hours and costs 620 Baht including the driver.
For a small motorcycle the fare is 280 Baht, for a big motorcycle 460 Baht including the driver.

If you arrive too late to get a car ticket for the last ferry you may have to reconsider and leave your car in the locked car park (100 Baht per day) and buy a passenger ticket for 220 Baht or stay overnight in one of the nearby guest houses.
