Sunset Beach (Pramong Beach, Porn Beach) on Koh Lipe

The northern coast line of Koh Lipe is steep. Only a few small bays with a sandy beach afford enough space for bungalow developments. The view with the large Adang Island across the water is a spectacular sight from the restaurants and bungalows.

Mountain Resort is a very beautiful resort situated on the cliff and it offers a fantastic view from all bungalows. Many new wooden and also some bamboo bungalows are pleasantly shaded and equipped with fan or air-conditioning. The basic fan bungalows are quite small.
Great restaurant with superb views to Koh Adang and Koh Rawi, friendly and efficiently working staff with fast service. Good Thai and western dishes with generous portions. The fish-spaghetti is cooked 'al dente' and very delicious indeed (says Delio who really knows it!). Tours, money exchange, cash advance on credit cards (only 5 % transaction fee). Restaurant located on a sightseeing platform above the cliffs. Several staircases with 55 stairs. Highly recommended.
