Koh Muk (เกาะมุก) (Trang)

Koh Muk (pronounced Koh mook) is the third largest island in Trang. The east side of the island is flat land where a fishing village is situated. Another side is a curved bay where Sapan Yao Pier, the source of sea grass, is located.

Ao Pangka is the beach on the eastern part of the island. Next to it is Ao Hua Thanon. There are a lot of boats. At the end of the beach, there is a sand cape. The north part of the beach is covered by mountains. Ao Klang is the bay next to the sand cape. This bay is good for anchoring. Next is Ao Khaun.

There are many resorts here. The beach is clay and sand but there are still a lot of coral reefs in the water. Emerald Cove (Tham Morakot or Tham Nam) is a famous tourist destination. It is located between Ao Lo Na and Ao Farang. The cave is a 10-meter-wide hollow in a high cliff. The ground is sandy. Diving in the cave is an amazing experience.
