Ao Ton Sai

Ton Sai is a quiet beach just a fifteen minute trip by boat from Ao Nang, next to Rai Leh. It is home to many climbing schools and still remains relatively unchanged giving it an alternative and long stay feel.

Ton Sai beach can only be reached by long-tail boat either from Ao Nang or Ao Nam Mao pier. The cost is 100 Baht each way. Tickets must be bought from the booths. The beach is rocky and and not inviting for swimming unless the tide is high. Most of the power is generated locally and available from 6pm to 6am. Generally room and restaurants prices are cheaper but internet is available at up to 3 Baht per minute. There’s no noisy nightlife here and most restaurants close at 10pm.



A small soi leading up from the beach has many small eateries. You can find other shops here including Pranang Princess Tour who will arrange any travel bookings. Ton Sai Massage gives oil massage for 300 Baht. Look out for Big Pancake and the Family Cooking Restaurant. A few places serve good breakfast's also lassie's, shakes, sandwiches, burgers and fries. There is a small mini mart, too.
