Getting to Doi Saket

By Plane

Chiang Mai has an international airport and planes from Bangkok and other destinations in Thailand arrive in Chiang Mai. Direct flights from China and Myanmar also arrive in Chiang Mai.
From the airport you can take a taxi to Doi Saket. During the day the price is approx 400 Baht, nighttime 500 Baht.
By Bus

The bus station in Chiang Mai is located close to the H118 that leads to Doi Saket. Buses from all destinations in Thailand arrive here. Take a taxi from the bus station to Doi Saket.
By Minivan

Minivans also arrive at the bus terminal in Chiang Mai. The minivans coming from the North do stop at Doi Saket Hospital.
By Train

The trains arrive from Bangkok via Pittsanoluk and Ayuthaya. Check the time table on http://www.railway.co.th The railway station is just outside the city of Chiang Mai. Take a taxi to Doi Saket, the charge will be about 400 Baht.

Songthaews

Songthaews via Bosang stop at the bus station and the railway station. If you come from downtown Chiang Mai you find them at Warorot Market.  The fee is 20 Baht per person. Songthaews stop at Doi Saket Market. From there you can hire a motorbike taxi, as Doi Saket is not a very touristy place, there are no motorbikes with side wagons.
