Saphli

In the north of Thung Wua Laen beyond the bridge with scenic views extends the modern fishing village Saphli along the road 3180. Absolutely worth a visit is the "Talat is nat“, the Sunday street market in Saphli. Here you can buy for extremely affordable prices clothes, jewelry, music, and things for daily needs. And most intriguing, stock up for divers snacks the palates of Westerners are very unaccustomed to.
Who makes holidays in Thung Wua Laen will for sure go a few times to Saphli. Shopping here is quite possible if you do not want to go to Chumphon.
Next to the major supermarket there is an ATM, which, however, is often empty.
Saphli is often written Sapli or Saplee.

This restaurant is furnished with beautiful wooden furniture and it is situated on the road to Saphlee, about 400 m away from the northern end of the beach. It’s worth while to take this short walk! The owner is an energetic Swiss woman called Ann, with the Thai nickname “Ryn”. She grew up in two cultures and she loves cooking - the result is freshly prepared dishes like Swiss national dishes and traditional Thai food, chocolate cake, Italian coffee specialties and many other delicacies. Highly recommended are steaks, soups and lasagne. There is free WIFI and it is very fast and reliable, internet for guests is free of charge.
Coffee Nest Restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.
