The Laem Sai Resort is situated a hundred meters north of the wellknown Rung Arun Resort right on the beach. The Laem Sai Resort consists of double bungalows and bungalows on the beach. There are also seating areas under young casuarinas by the beach which is supported by concrete walls. The large restaurant Krua Laem Sai with an open kitchen serves fresh seafood as well as Thai food. The Laem Sai Resort offers also a conference room and camping.

The Boyee Resort (also spelled Bo Yi Hotel and Boryee Resort and Boryhee Resort) is 200 metres away from Samret Beach in the very north of Surat Thani province in Chana district. The rooms are upstairs in a long double storey building with the car park underneath the rooms. Another set of rooms are in a rowhouse style building. A coconut plantation extends between the resort and the beach.
The rooms are clean and very quiet, free from any disturbance.
