The Mukdara Beach Resort lies right on the sandy beach of Bang Niang. The shopping road with restaurants, minimarts, bars, massage salons, travel agencies, dive centers and many shops starts at the entrance of Mukdara Resort.
The luxury resort offers 148 rooms and it is built in a modern and elegant Thai style. It features a lobby, 3 restaurants, a coffee shop, bars, a beauty salon, spa services, internet, one swimming pool in the garden and another one at the beach, jacuzzi, pool bar, fitness center and tennis court. It is one of the most popular resorts in Khao Lak.
The rooms are comfortably furnished with air-conditioning, bathtub/shower, hair dryer, balcony/terrace, bath robe, satellite TV, telephone, safe, minibar and coffee/tea facilites. The villas in the garden and on the beach have the same facilities, yet they come with a rain shower and a separate seating corner.

La Flora Resort is advertised as a perfect place for romantic holidays. It is situated right by the sea, offers villas and spacious rooms in various hotel buildings as well as additional services like spa and fitness center. Rooms are designed in Asian style, most of them with balconies and large daybeds. Two bedroom villas feature jacuzzi and rain showers. There are Thai cooking classes, boxing classes and a tennis court. The restaurant serves high quality food, but the staff has still to learn how to get along with western facilities.

The Ramada Khao Lak Beach Resort and Spa consists of several hotel buildings surrounding a large lawn area and four villas by the beachside. A wide choice of rooms with very good facilities such as a large wardrobe, suitcase shelves, safe, king size bed with new mattress, stylishly designed bathroom with a lot of glass, LCD TV, desk, minibar, water kettle, extra couch inside and one couch on the balcony, all with black tiles. The restaurant is near the beach and offers seafood barbecue every night.

The Khao Lak Riverside Resort and Spa is situated right by Bang Niang River about 200 m from the sea. All rooms have a balcony with view to the river with its fishing boats and to the sea. The rooms are equipped with all modern amenities such as satellite TV, minibar, safe and hair dryer. Rooms for smokers/non smokers are available on request. The bathrooms have a shower cabin and sea view. In the upper floors there are a spa with sauna and massage services. Chong Fah Khao Lak Resort is a private beachfront hotel located directly on the sandy Bang Niang Beach adjacent to Sita Garden and the t-Globe Service Point. The Resort offers 16 rooms in 4 double storey buildings and 14 rooms in 7 double bungalows. The 8 beachfront rooms have direct and uninterrupted sea views. The Resort features a middle class restaurant and a swimming pool with black tiles, both overlooking the sea. Due to the best location at Bang Niang Beach, the well-trained staff and the family atmosphere the Chong Fah Resort has twice gained an Award by holidaycheck.de. In the green season rates are 3500 to 6000 Baht. Peak season surcharge is 1500 Baht.

The Fanari Seafront Resort is located directly at Bang Niang Beach. It has 4 bungalows, 12 rooms in double bungalows and 6 duplex-rooms in the 2-storey main building beside the road. Very spacious bungalows specially designed for families are right at the beach, only 4 bungalows have sea view though, most others have pool view. The rates apply for 4 persons, that is inclusive of 4 times breakfast. In the duplex rooms in the new main building up to 6 persons can easily be accommodated. As all rates are per family, the price per person is very reasonable.

Casa de la Flora is a sister resort of the 4-star La Flora Resort which is also situated at Bang Niang Beach, just 1200 metres further south. Casa de la Flora is a Designer-Resort that has the aim to run as the second real 5-star resort in Khao Lak. Most staff is recruited from the original La Flora Resort. The general manager is a professional from Switzerland. The resort consists of 36 contemporary slate-gray cube villas in eight categories. The sanitary equipment is from the world famous German company Grohe. From the outside the resort gives the impression that it was built in unawareness of the beautiful nature around. Considering the current image of Khao Lak as a low-key natural, peaceful resort area it will be interesting to see if the Casa de la Flora will live up to its self-awarded 5-star classification.

The Shambhala is located on Bang Niang Beach in Khao Lak.

The Amsterdam Resort offers a variety of different bungalows and rooms, all of them come with private bathroom. The restaurant is located upstairs in the main building, it is opened all day. The service includes internet (1 Baht/minute), free WiFi for guests, travel agency, motorcycle, bicycle and car rental. The restaurant is closed during low season (May to October) and only bungalows with fan or air-conditioning are available (500/600 Baht).

Ladda Resort is a very nice resort at Soi 4, 300 m from the beach. Ladda Resort consists of 8 rooms with air-conditioning in a 2-storey apartment house and 11 bungalows in a nice and quiet garden. A small swimming pool suitable for bathing and for children lies in the middle. The restaurant is right next to the road, but there is hardly any traffic. An Extrabed for small children costs only 100 Baht. Very family friendly facilities. Danish speaking owner.

The Sea Sand Sun Resort is situated 200 m from Bang Niang Beach in the very quiet road Soi 4. The resort offers six bungalows with terrace and a family house with 2 bedrooms and one living room for 4000 Baht per night, breakfast for 4 persons included. In the Blue Fish Cafe the owner, Khun Kukai, prepares the breakfast for her guests. This small resort is highly praised by all guests as shown on the booking.com website.

The Fanari Khaolak Resort is situated about 80 to 200 m from the beach. It consists of two completely different wings located at the left and right side of Soi 2. The 3-storey hotel complex lies closer to the beach and it features 30 decently furnished rooms as well as a restaurant and swimming pool. The beautifully arranged bungalow wing lies just behind the quiet Soi 2 in a lush tropical garden, 17 double bungalows are set around the second pool and 8 rooms are in a 2-storey house in the garden, all are comfortably furnished. Deck chairs, parasols and a Pool Bar surround the pool. The Cafe de Beach behind the beach road serves international and local Thai dishes with live music. Tour arrangements, massage, a minimart, a tailor shop and car rental are available. The sister resort Fanari Khaolak Resort Seafront is located 400 m north right on the beach.

The Sudala Beach Resort consists of two properties, one is about 80 to 140 m from the beach behind the beach road, the other one is right on the waterfront. On this long stretch of beach there are 12 spacious, dark red double bungalows (Seaview Bungalows, Garden Bungalows and Pool View Bungalows) as well as 54 rooms in three 3-storey hotel buildings. The rooms on the ground floor give the impression of living in a lush tropical garden. The upper rooms offer a view of the sea. The two pools are situated between the bungalows and the hotel rooms.
