Moo 1 Ban Saladan Koh Lanta, Krabi 81150

After Ban Saladan follow the route towards the east, pass the police station and turn left to the ferry pier. The car ferry takes you to Lanta Noi, the scarcely inhabited sister island. If you start early why not walk along the undeveloped beach, as the water is quite shallow it is not ideal for swimming. Koh Lanta Noi is mostly inhabited by Muslim farmers and fishermen. Rubber trees are grown here.
If you go by motorbike, you can also take a long tail boat.  Just follow the road straight to the water in Saladan and next to Lanta Pizza the boats land. You drive over a narrow gangway and sit on your bike while the boat crosses the short distance to the beach on the other side.
From the ferry pier follow the main road (H4206) for about 4 kilometers then take a right at the t-junction and after about 4 kilometers take another left towards the ferry Pier of Lanta Noi. Cross the sea by car ferry. Upon arrival on the mainland just follow the road for about 24 kilometers, until you reach the t-junction with Highway H4. Take a left into the village of Klong Thom.
At KM69 you can see the temple of Klong Thom. In its walls the Klong Thom Museum is located and is worth a visit if you are interested in archaeology.
