Green Garden Villa is a first class holiday home with 3 bedrooms near Bang Muang Beach 17 km north of Khao Lak. The vacation rental was built by a Swedish family according to European standards in the midst of tropical vegetation. The house has a large Swimming Pool with beautiful view into the nature. The holiday home comes complete with air conditioning and warm water, has two bathrooms, a large, completely equipped living room with integrated kitchen (fridge, gas cookers, coffee machine, plates and cutlery), a large terrace around the pool, and a beautiful garden. Next door are the houses of a Swedish and a Finnish family, very friendly people. A few local houses are in the vicinity of Green Garden Villa, so the area is very quiet, but not too lonely.

The Thai Life Coffee Shop is situated by the lakeside at Thai Life Homestay Resort in Bang Muang. The chef has learned his profession in various five-star resorts all over Thailand. His food preparations are outstanding. We highly recommend trying his Cordon Bleu.

Yim Yim Restaurant was located in the fishing village of Nam Khem before the tsunami. After that the father of the family, who lost his wife and two daughters, moved to the main road. It is still a very popular place, but no longer the best Chinese Seafood Restaurant in the province. Tourists are recommended to come along with a local as only these people will know which dishes are exceptionally outstanding. Fried rice is not very special here; however, Wun Sen Kung (noodle dish with shrimp) is really delicious.

Five massage huts by the beach of Bang Muang offer Thai massage. A food stall sells snacks and cocktails for sunset, toilet container is attached.

Supaporn Elephant Tour has the same owner as Bang Pling Nature Resort. The gravel road turns off Petchkasem Highway about 4 km south of Bang Muang just after the bridge. There are signboards on the left and right of the road. This elephant trekking also offers elephant bathing in a nice lake in beautiful landscape.
