White Sand Restaurant and Bungalows

White Sand Beach is considered by many tourists the most beautiful beach of Khao Lak. They love the very fine white sand, the laid back atmosphere and the excellent food served by all three beach front restaurants. As the restaurants belong to members of the same family, amicable friendship reigns at this beach. All three restaurants have bungalows in the same style for the same price, built by the same local contractor. Not surprisingly there is one family bungalow each at the end of the property next to the road - but each one slightly different for different customer needs.

White Sand Beach has 10 Bungalows behind the restaurant until the road. As the neighboring resorts they are fully equipped but have no mosquito screens. They have also one family bungalow near the road for 5000 Baht for up to 6 persons.

White Sand Beach Restaurant is the southernmost of the three beach restaurants. It has good shade under many trees.

White Sand Beach Bungalows offers 9 stone bungalows situated behind the restaurant in one row until the road. All rooms have air-conditioning, hot water showers and a fridge. According to Thai belief no mosquitoes come into rooms with aircon, so no screens are necessary in the windows. For a private mosquito net no hooks are provided. The room rate of 1500 Baht per night is very reasonable for this fairly high standard.

The Family Bungalow at White Sand Beach
As in all three bungalow villages the family bungalow is situated next to the road. Why? Simply this was the last space left when the necessity for a family bungalow arose due to more and more families asking to stay at White Sand Beach.
This family bungalow has a living room and two sleeping rooms with a double bed and a single bed. For up to 6 persons this family bungalow costs 5000 Baht. There is a large fridge, but no kitchenette.
